POSTED ON MARCH 16, 2012
On May 9, 2012 the children from Sue Erhard's fifth-grade class at Onondaga Road Elementary School Skyped with the Cambodia Tomorrow English School in Kompong Speu, Cambodia.
This was an opportunity for the students in Cambodia to practice their English with native speakers of English. For the children at Onondaga Road it was an opportunity to learn about Cambodian culture and schooling in Cambodia.
The students at both schools prepared questions to ask. The Skype session lasted about 20 minutes as it was already 8:00 p.m. in Cambodia.
The Cambodia Tomorrow School supports English education for children living at the orphan center and extremely low income children in Kompong Speu. Please go to http://www.cambodiatomorrow.org/Programs.htm for more information about the school.
