Message from the Superintendent
With the summer tucked away for another year, it is time to focus ourselves on another productive school year. Thanks to all who have helped my family and me have such a smooth transition into our new school community. 
On the opening day for staff, I stressed the importance of communication, collaboration, and unity as keys to our overall success. We are ALL charged with preparing our students to be as competitive and successful as they can for when they leave the halls of West Genesee and find themselves right in the middle of the “real world”. If we communicate, collaborate, and unify with the best intentions of our students at heart, we will all find success and feelings of worth.
Our goals for the school year include increasing academic achievement at all levels through:
Nurturing our new reading program at the elementary levels
Delivering targeted academic intervention services to those children who need it the most
Recognizing and celebrating diversity in our schools
Increasing the number of students who complete high school
Increasing the number of graduates with Regents Diplomas
Continuing to celebrate and foster success in our athletics and fine arts programs
Expanding our Career and Technical Education Programs and encouraging college level course completion
Conducting a comprehensive census to help make data driven decisions regarding buildings, boundaries, programs, and opportunities
My hope is to be able to communicate with you at various functions, meetings, and gatherings so that you can confidently know that your thoughts are heard and considered. There is much to be proud of and I am thankful that you chose me to be your leader.
