Background
Welcome to Split Rock Elementary! Our goal following the West Genesee Central School District’s mission is to foster a dynamic, safe and nurturing learning environment for all students. To do so, we strive to shape a family-school partnership, built on positive and transparent relationships.
Split Rock Elementary has an enrollment of approximately 350 students in grades k-5 with an average class size of 20. Our school has been on this site since the late 1800s. The building itself is unique as it consists of two facilities connected by a bridge with a great view! These buildings were renovated in 1992, providing both students and staff the platform for success.
Split Rock Elementary has a rich tradition and success when looking at all facets of the building, a direct result of the hard work and dedication not only the students demonstrate but the entire staff of teachers, assistants, teacher aides, office staff, custodians, food service workers and bus drivers, as it is truly a team effort!
I encourage you to review our website and the Split Rock Family Handbook to be sure all pertinent information is recognized and understood. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the office.
