Mental Health Support Services
Our school counselors and grade 7-12 social workers team together to help students receive appropriate levels of support based on identified needs:
Services may include:
Classroom lessons on mental health awareness and coping skills
Professional development opportunities for faculty and staff
Consultation with families and teachers
Coordination of in-school support services
Short-term individual and group counseling
Referrals to on-site Helio Health clinical mental health counseling
Referrals to community resources
Crisis intervention and risk assessments
We also maintain a strong partnership with ACCESS CNY, a community agency that can help families connect with community resources that may include:
Outpatient counseling services
Family support services
Substance abuse treatment
Specialized mental health programs
Insurance navigation assistance
