Mental Health Support Services

Our school counselors and grade 7-12 social workers team together to help students receive appropriate levels of support based on identified needs:

Services may include:

  • Classroom lessons on mental health awareness and coping skills

  • Professional development opportunities for faculty and staff

  • Consultation with families and teachers

  • Coordination of in-school support services

  • Short-term individual and group counseling 

  • Referrals to on-site Helio Health clinical mental health counseling 

  • Referrals to community resources 

  • Crisis intervention and risk assessments

We also maintain a strong partnership with ACCESS CNY, a community agency that can help families connect with community resources that may include:

  • Outpatient counseling services

  • Family support services

  • Substance abuse treatment

  • Specialized mental health programs

  • Insurance navigation assistance
