Seven West Genesee High School seniors successfully completed the requirements of the West Genesee Odyssey Program this year. This program is designed to encourage, then recognize, students who complete a rich, rigorous, and well-rounded college-level educational experience while still in high school.
Students receiving recognition have completed six college-level credits in the core areas of study and four credits in supplemental coursework, and have participated in a wide variety of community service experiences as well as extra-curricular activities over the course of their four years at the high school. Odyssey students spend the year researching a topic of interest, then creating a solution-based presentation before a panel of administrators, teachers, and peers.
This year’s Odyssey students are: Brady Barrett, Erin Fortune, Intisar Haddad, Kaitlyn Hoy, Teshale Kelly, Nathan Smith, and Elena Pacheco.
