CTE

West Genesee High School is graduating 38 students this year from Career and Technical Education programs, where the instruction is delivered completely within the District.

These students have to satisfy requirements of the New York State Education Department as follows: complete five units of course work in an approved career area, complete 15 hours of job shadowing, prepare a portfolio of samples of work from the courses in the strand, and pass a nationally recognized certification exam.

These students have completed their coursework in one of three strands taught at the high school, i.e., Business Administration, Computer Technology, and Engineering Technology.

Business Administration

The following eight students completed their strand in Business Administration: Brady Barrett, Colleen Barry, John Gaffney, Rose Latessa, Dylan Radcliffe, Ryan Saroney, Emily Schiffer, and Aaliyah Torzon.

Computer Technology

Nine students completed the Computer Technology strand and they are: Joseph Burgette, Noah Cosamano, Christian Espinoza, Quintin Frese, Michael Hess, Jackson Humphrey, Andrew Landon, Jason Malinowski, and Charles Searle.

Engineering Technology

Twenty-one students completed the Engineering Technology strand and they are: Mia Barnello, Nolan Bellotti, Brendan Bieling, Joseph Cavallo, Christopher Coyne, David Desko, Anthony Edgar, Gabriel Farino, Ryan Goshow, Anthony Lamanna, Anthony Mangano, Patrick Pritchard, Nathan Ruzekowicz, Yazen Salman, Collin Schweitzer, Landyn Shaw, Nathan Smith, Nicolas Stemkoski, Matthew Tully, Serhiy Oleh Yurchenko, and Eyad Zahran.
