The Resource Fair will include agencies from our community that offer services to children with special needs, including, Advocates, Helio Healthcare, LAUNCH, Exceptional Family Resources, and the Towne Shop and more.
Learn about OPWDD services, summer programs and much more. This event is free and open to the public.

Update: the Boys 4x200m relay team finished strong to come in 3rd in the State (and 3rd in the Federation)
With a time of 1:30.33 in the semifinals of the NYS Track and Field Championships, the boys 4x200m relay sets a new school record and will run in the finals later this afternoon! Good luck men! (Rhison Williams, Anthony Edgar, Will Fettig, Dylan Frost)
Mike Gomes gets a 4th place State finish (5th Federations) in the 1000m run.

The Annual WGCSD Culture Celebration will be held at West Genesee High School on Saturday, March 2 from 12:00-3:00 p.m in the upper gymnasium.
Join us as we celebrate our community’s diversity at this fun event featuring dance performances, live music, cultural demonstrations, food samples, artwork, T-shirts, kids crafts, and more!

The WGIS 6th-7th Grade Scheduling Night originally planned for tonight will not be rescheduled because the new timeline will not match availability & the course selection process. New information about the process will be sent directly to parents after next Monday.

The Choral Festival Concert and K-12 Art Show that was scheduled for this evening will now take place on Monday, March 11.

The West Genesee Central School District will be closed today, Thursday, February 29, 2024. This includes Holy Family.

WGHS juniors Devin Dantuono and Rachel Hann have been named new Syracuse delegates to the 2024 Angelo Del Toro Puerto Rican Hispanic Youth Leadership Institute (PRHYLI). Senior Osvaldo Valenzuela received this honor last year, and he will attend again this year. Congratulations!


WGIS MUSICIANS SELECTED FOR ELEMENTARY ALL-COUNTY CONCERT
Twenty-four West Genesee Intermediate School sixth graders have been selected to perform in the Elementary All-County Festival at Henninger High School on May 3-4, 2024.
The six students selected to be in the Choir are Emma Caltabiano, Aidan Ewanek, Lily Fancher, Annabelle Letizia, Quinn Peckham, and Maddison Perkins.
The eleven musicians selected to play in the Orchestra are Sofia Babota (Violin), Luca Belfield (Viola), Matthew Eassa (Cello), Joshua Fasulo (Double Bass), Cassandra Kennedy (Cello), Kaitlyn Klaben (Violin), Amy Melnik (Violin), Solomae Nyadedzor (Violin), Aeva Shelestovsky (Violin), Sarah Sullivan (Viola), and Victor Vasilev (Violin).
The seven Band members selected are Olivia Barry (Trumpet), Brayden Bielby (Tuba), Iris Eddy (Baritone/Euphonium), Boden Erwin (Trombone), Anthony Gucciardi (Tenor Saxophone), Joseph Komuda (Trombone), and Parley Millar (Trumpet).
