This week is NYSSBA School Board Recognition Week! Please join us in thanking the hardworking volunteers that make up our Board for taking on one of the most important citizen responsibilities: overseeing the education of the community’s youth here at West Genesee CSD!


Happening at West Genesee October 16-17:


WG is the #1 seed in the 2023 AA girls soccer tournament - we receive a bye into the semi finals, facing the winner of Whitesboro vs Watertown. The semi finals will be at Nottingham HS on Tuesday, October 24th at 5:30 pm!


Wildcats Modified XC Shout-out: Juliana Fasulo has raced seven times this season in league meets and invitationals. Only one second place; the rest were wins, usually by over 30 seconds. Impressive.....


Girls Varsity Soccer: Final score WG 1 JD 0- goal from Nelson off a feed from McMahon as we post our 12th shutout of the season. Back to back league titles and tomorrow we’ll learn our sectional seed! Great work Cats!


Congrats to the WG Varsity Cheerleaders who took home first place in their division today and earned the highest overall score of the day in Hannibal. 💙💛🐾📣


Congrats to WG divers Mia Berrios who made sectionals today with a score of 281.55 and to Lily Mauro who scored 423.85, a new 11 dive school record! The previous record was 419.25. 💙💛

Meet our School Nurses: This Week...Colleen Condon
We would like to introduce you to Colleen Condon who is the new nurse at Camillus Middle School.
She is a Le Moyne graduate, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing.
Condon started her career providing private duty care for the elderly population for three years, and performed as a substitute school nurse at West Genesee for one year before starting full time.
She grew up in Marcellus, New York, where she currently resides. In her spare time, she enjoys listening to music, reading, walking her two dogs, painting, and playing the piano. She loves spending time with her friends and family.
Colleen is excited to get to know the students and staff at Camillus Middle School!


The Wildcat Band is scheduled to perform at 6:30 pm tomorrow at the US Bands Marine Corps International! Check usbands.org tomorrow for updated schedules as they monitor the weather...and keep your fingers crossed for a better forecast!


Chloe Fietze led a 9-13-14-16-18 Wildcat finish in the 100 runner Twilight Invitational field. The 'cats placed 2nd to #3 state F-M. Moving up.....
157 runners at the Twilight Invitational and only 2 finished ahead of Wildcat Mike Gomes. His third place led the boys to a 3rd place team finish in the 14 team field. They are improving.....
