The District Council is having a coat drive the month of October. On November 2, 2024 there will be a "shopping" event for West Genesee families who need winter gear.

East Hill Safety Patrols
The East Hill Safety Patrol Program has begun! Any 4th grade student that was interested in this leadership role applied by completing an application. Officer Clarke trained the first squad of the patrols that will be serving for the month of October. The next squad will begin in November as many students are excited for this opportunity!

Morgan’s Message hosted Chalk the Walk, an annual event sponsored by the Onondaga County Suicide Prevention Coalition (OCSPC), for all students and staff at WGHS on Friday, September 27.
This important campaign takes place during National Suicide Prevention Month and encourages students and staff to create uplifting chalk messages and images that promote mental health and suicide prevention.
