Dear CMS Families,
It's been a busy start to the academic year, and I'm excited to share some noteworthy highlights that fill me with immense pride when it comes to our students.
Our students have been actively utilizing the morning Interaction Time, demonstrating initiative and eagerness for learning. I've observed students proactively seeking assistance from their teachers, either for clarification or to catch up on missed assignments. Moreover, when teachers have requested their presence, students respond promptly, highlighting their dedication to their education. During moments when they're not engaged with teachers, they are using this time effectively to prepare for the day ahead, stay ahead on coursework, or enhance their skills through engaging activities available on the IT Google Classroom.
Furthermore, I'm delighted to report that numerous students have already embraced the diverse array of clubs offered at CMS. You can always find information about these clubs in my Friday Messages, providing students with opportunities to explore their interests and passions beyond the classroom.
Lastly, I'd like to extend my congratulations to the fifty-three students who have received Better Together recognition raffle tickets for consistently embodying our core values of being safe, respectful, responsible, and kind. In a special September draw, twenty-five students had their names drawn, and as a token of appreciation, they were rewarded with coupons for a slice of pizza and soda from The Wildcat. We're grateful to the PTO and The Wildcat for their generous contribution.
Additionally, it brings me great joy to announce our September P2 students of the month. Their pictures are featured in a slideshow below as we celebrate their character strengths and positive contributions to our CMS community.
As we approach the long weekend, I encourage you to take the time to relax and recharge. Thank you for your continued support and partnership in shaping a bright and successful future for our students.
Better Together,
Ms. P
