Dear CMS Families,
As we embrace the vibrant energy of spring, we're also approaching the culmination of another enriching school year at CMS. It's a time filled with excitement and anticipation, and we're proud to witness our students' dedication to learning and their compassionate treatment of others.
To ensure your child finishes the year on a strong note, here are some ways you can support them at home:
Encourage regular check-ins on Google Classrooms and Student Vue to stay updated on assignments and class announcements.
Remind your child to charge their Chromebook every night to facilitate uninterrupted learning during the day.
Emphasize the importance of completing homework assignments and encourage them to reach out to their teachers via email if they will need assistance during morning IT sessions.
Reach out to teachers if you have questions regarding how your child is doing in their class.
Maintain open and honest conversations with your child about their social media usage. For valuable insights and tips, I recommend reading this article from Yale Medicine.
Let's continue to foster a culture of kindness and empathy within our community. Remember, a small act of kindness can make a big difference in someone's day.
Thank you for your unwavering support and partnership in your child's education. I'm excited to witness our students' continued growth and success in the coming months.
Better Together,
Ms. P
