Dear East Hill Elementary School Families,

My name is Robert Leo and as many of you know, I have been serving as the East Hill Interim Principal during Mrs. Meskos' absence. I owe her a debt of gratitude for setting me up for success at East Hill with her leadership. I am also grateful for the dedicated and passionate team of educators here who work tirelessly for the benefit of our students.

This past week, students have been learning about the Positivity Project character trait of Gratitude. Other highlights include the 4th grade field trip to West Genesee Intermediate School to see their production of Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer and a visit from Officer Brand for CODE.

I had the good fortune of attending the PTA meeting that took place on November 15 where I learned that they are close to meeting their membership goals for the year. Even if you aren't able to attend PTA events during the school day, your membership dues go a long way in supporting our students.

Our teachers are looking forward to discussing your children's progress next week during Parent-Teacher Conferences. Please note that Monday and Tuesday are half-days for students.

I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday and look forward to leading East Hill until Mrs. Meskos returns. It has been an absolute joy getting to know the students at East Hill!

Sincerely,

Rob
