Dear East Hill Families,
This week was filled with memorable events and celebrations at East Hill Elementary! We had the pleasure of welcoming back our former East Hill Wildcats who are now graduating seniors for the Senior Walk. The walk included a parade of our seniors through the hallways, which were lined with East Hill students and staff members cheering them on. The energy and excitement were palpable as everyone celebrated the achievements of these outstanding young adults.
Following the parade, we gathered for an assembly where we watched a heartwarming presentation created by Mrs. MacArthur. The presentation featured pictures of the seniors from when they were in fifth grade, bringing back many fond memories. The seniors also had the opportunity to take pictures with their former teachers and recreate their class photos. This truly was a special day, filled with nostalgia and pride.
On Friday, our school community came together to celebrate Flag Day in true East Hill style! Students dressed in red, white, and blue, sang patriotic songs, and shared interesting facts about the American flag. The PTA provided patriotic popsicles, which were a refreshing treat enjoyed by everyone. It was a wonderful way to honor our nation and build a sense of unity among our students.
We are eagerly looking forward to our Field Days on Monday! It's going to be an exciting day full of fun activities and teamwork. Thank you for your continued support and participation in making these events successful and memorable for our students.
Love,
~Susan
