Dear East Hill Families,
It has been a busy and productive week at East Hill, and I am excited to share some highlights with you.
Today, we practiced our lockdown drill, and I am so proud of how well our students followed instructions and demonstrated their understanding of safety procedures. Earlier this week, on Tuesday morning, we also practiced bus safety drills. These drills are an essential part of keeping our school community safe, and I want to commend our students and staff for their attention and cooperation. We have one more drill scheduled for next week, which will conclude our safety drills until spring.
Another highlight of the week was a visit from the REV Theatre Company, who collaborated with our 4th grade students to produce an interactive performance of The Center of the Earth. The energy, creativity, and talent that REV Theatre brings to our school is always a joy to experience, and it’s wonderful to see our students engaged in such a meaningful and fun way.
Next week, we will celebrate the joy of the season with our Spirit Week! It’s a wonderful opportunity to come together as a community and share in some festive fun. Please see the flyer below for details on the exciting themes and activities planned for each day. We can’t wait to see everyone’s spirit shine!
Lastly, today marks the conclusion of our PTA Winter/Holiday Gift Card Drive. I am truly inspired by the generosity of our East Hill community. Your contributions will make a big difference for families in need, and I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated.
Thank you for your continued support of our students, staff, and school. Wishing you a wonderful weekend!
Warm regards,
Susan Meskos
