Summer Food Support Information Many students enjoy breakfast and lunch at school on a regular basis. It is understandable when families find it challenging to provide those meals during school vacations. Please note the following free lunch and food pantry information. Food pantries partner with the Food Bank of CNY to provide low cost, nutritious food to those in need. The following is a list of food pantries and services available in our community to assist families. WGCSD PTA/PTO District Council Preparing to Distribute Donated School Supplies For 14 years, West Genesee PTA/PTO District Council has been collecting and providing school supplies to West Genesee students in need. School supply donations are appreciated and can be dropped off at St. Joseph's Church office until August 1, 2023. Registered families will be contacted with more details. Volunteers are needed to assist with packing the donated supplies into backpacks for families in need. The West Genesee District Office building will be closed temporarily from July 26-August 2. The staff will be working in various locations and will respond to emails and voicemails, but no one will be able to come into the district office building until August 3.

Please consider adding a donation to your back to school shopping for the West Genesee School Supply Drive sponsored by the WGCSD District PTA/PTO Council. They need specific items to complete our program: spiral notebooks, 1 inch binders, highlighters, loose leaf paper, dry erase markers and pencils. Thank you but they don't need crayons, colored pencils or folders. Donations can be dropped off at St. Joseph's Church Office until August 1.
