Hello Onondaga Road Families,

People say that time flies when you are having fun. Well, I guess we are having fun here at Onondaga Road because this week flew by. There are so many great events and activities to share with you this week.

Our first annual Learning Fair was such a great experience for our third and fourth graders! Students selected a topic that interests them and let their curiosity take over. They all came up with creative ways to demonstrate their learning. Some of the projects were science-related and organized as experiments, such as “The Unpoppable Bubble,” “Air Pressure in Marshmallows” and “Ex-straw-ordinary.” Other projects centered around an artistic theme, such as “Express Art” and “Crochet Is Fun.”. We even had some projects share information about famous people such as Amelia Earhart. A big thank you goes out to our PTA for supporting this and to Mrs. Hudson and Mrs. Marchesani for coordinating it.

Our First Graders were able to enjoy a performance of “The Boy Who Cried Wolf” from Rev Theater. The actors start their time with the students in each first-grade classroom, and then they put on a performance.

On Friday the Francis Academy of Irish Dance performed several dances for our students. It was a great way to learn about Irish culture and get in the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day. We sure are lucky to be here at Onondaga Road!

Please reach out with any questions or concerns.

Respectfully,

Michelle Collier
