Dear Onondaga Road Families,

This week, we had to make some tough decisions regarding the heat index and the weather. Out of an abundance of caution, we prioritized the safety and well being of both our students and staff. This was a great learning opportunity for our students and a chance to practice their flexibility in times of uncertainty.

The Onondaga Road Olympics were held indoors this year and the students had a great time. A special thank you goes to Mr. Lane for quickly re-organizing this event and to the staff who adjusted their rooms or schedules to ensure that we could hold this event. Thank you to the PTA for donating the popsicles for our students to enjoy.

We look forward to celebrating our Grade 4 students on Monday, June 24 at their Recognition Ceremony. We are excited to be able to reschedule the Grade 4 Water Carnival to Tuesday, June 25 from 9:15 to 10:45.

Monday, June 24, and Tuesday, June 25 are half days for students. Tuesday is the last day of school for students. Please remember to send a note if your child’s routine will change for Monday or Tuesday.

Thank you for your continued support and please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any concerns or questions that you may have.

Respectfully,

Michelle Collier
