Dear Stonehedge Families,

We have had a great first full week of school.

Our 1st through 4th grade students worked with our Instructional Support Teachers in reading and math as part of our screening process. We had a tremendous turn out at Curriculum Night yesterday. If you weren't able to attend, reach out to your child's teacher for any information you may have missed.

On Monday and Tuesday, we had busses on campus to teach all students our bus expectations. The bus is such an important part of our school day, please review with your child(ren) how they can be safe, respectful, and responsible on the bus each day. Also, the library staff puts on a great show to teach our cafeteria expectations. You should ask your son/daughter about it! Your help in reinforcing cafeteria expectations is also appreciated. Check out our expectations poster below!

We really kicked off our Wildcat Wows this week. As you know, we have Wildcat Wows to reinforce positive behaviors throughout the school. Each Friday we hold a drawing and announce Wildcat Wow winners on the announcements. Check out the pictures below!

I'd like to give a quick shout out to those who attended our first PTA meeting on Monday. The library was packed. We talked about events coming up and all the activities PTA sponsors at Stonehedge. If you missed it, I hope you'll join us on October 12th at 6:30 pm in the Stonehedge Library. Babysitting and pizza is available!

Each day this week our dismissal improved. You can help us by not coming on campus until 2:45 pm. If you come before 2:45, you create congestion for our PreK dismissal and WGIS dismissal. We start dismissing car pick-up students at 3:10.

Have a great weekend!

Amanda
