Dear Stonehedge Families,

We have had another successful week learning at Stonehedge. On top of the daily academics, the children attended a Fire Safety Assembly and as well as Code Assemblies.

Last Night, Deb Ratcliff and I attending the grand reveal of the playground communication sign which was recently installed on the blue playground. Thank you to the West Genesee Special Education PTSA for working hard to bring these boards to all of the playgrounds across the district. The boards will be a helpful tool for our students with limited language to communicate wants and needs with friends and staff.

Next week, attendance letters will be sent out district wide. These letters are sent to families of children who have missed more than 11% of school. These letters are a requirement of the state and are sent to students who were absent regardless of the cause of the absence. Of course we understand that some students are too ill to attend school. Attendance is critical. Students must be in school to learn.
