Dear Stonehedge Families-
It certainly has been a busy week! We've been learning how our actions affect others, continuing to develop our decoding and comprehension skills, and digging deeper into our Math curriculum. On top of all that, we've had a lot of extra curricular activities, too.
Last Friday, we hosted an amazing Pumpkinhedge. Thank you to the PTA, volunteers and visitors for making it happen. The Halloween Parade was incredibly JOYFUL! ;) The kids love showing off their costumes. AND, today ... We've been out running off all the extra candy at our Annual Turkey Trot! What a week!
As if all of those festivities weren't enough, last night was our PTA Pre-k and Kindergarten family night. It was wonderful to see so many children and their families engaged in games, crafts and books. What a great time to meet other families and celebrate our school community. Thank you to all of those who attended and hosted.
But wait! There is MORE! Did you happen to catch our Pre-K students on the news last night? Megan Coleman at CNYcentral did a story on the importance of Preschool programs and Stonhedge was one of the focus programs! Our students and teachers are famous! :) Check it out here:
