Dear Stonehedge Families-
Our Annual First Responders' Day was an enormous success! This special day has quickly become a favorite among our students, and we are immensely grateful for the outpouring of support from our volunteers and community members. Your dedication and enthusiasm truly made the event memorable for our students. A special shout-out goes to the high school students who generously volunteered their time to supervise the first responder stations. It's moments like these that remind us of the incredible impact we can make when we come together to celebrate and honor those who serve our community.
Check out the pictures below of the other things that have been brewing at Stonehedge this week...baby chicks hatched in PreK, 4th Grade attended the Ultimate Goal, and most classes chalked the walk with their buddy classes!
Looking ahead, we have exciting events lined up in the coming weeks. However, this time of year can also present challenges for our students as they navigate the final stretch of the school year. As such, I kindly ask for your support in reinforcing our school wide expectations of being respectful, responsible, and safe at home each morning. By working together, we can help our students finish the school year strong and with pride in their accomplishments.
On a related note, I wanted to remind everyone that our End of Year Carnival is scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, with Thursday and Friday reserved as rain dates. In the event of inclement weather, we will make an announcement on Monday morning regarding any necessary rescheduling. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding as we strive to ensure a fun and memorable experience for all.
Finally, we will be welcoming our graduating seniors for the Senior Walk on Thursday morning. This cherished tradition is a wonderful opportunity for our seniors to reconnect with their elementary school roots and for our younger students to be inspired by their achievements.
Thank you once again for your continued support and involvement in our school community. Together, we can make the remainder of the school year a time of joy, celebration, and growth for all.
Enjoy-
Amanda
