**Our very own Nurse Mrs. Delaney was featured this week in the Superintendent's E-Newsletter. Click here to read more about Mrs. Delaney.
School Screenings started this week for both hearing and vision in grades K, 1, and 3.
The weather is changing! Please make sure to send your child to school in appropriate attire: jackets, hats, gloves, boots and sneakers to change into.
Accidents and spills happen. I have very limited change of clothing left here at the nurse’s office. Please send a change of clothing for your child to keep in their locker or class.
As a reminder, students should not be in school if they have:
- Fever at or above 100 degrees
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Cough that is persistent or an unusual level of severity
- Flu
- COVID-19+
In general, your child should be without fever, vomiting, or diarrhea for 24 hours with no use of medication, before they return to school.
Attendance/Absence: As a reminder, you may submit a student’s absence through the Parentvue app Located on the West Genesee Website. This is a quick and easy way to communicate an illness/reason for absence that directly will go to the nurse. You may also call the health office (315) 487-4658 and leave a message if there is no answer.
Have a great week!
