Physical Exams:

The New York State Department of Education requires physical exams for students upon entry into a school district for the first time (kindergarten and transfers from other school districts) as well as students entering 1st and 3rd grades. The health office will accept physical exams that have occurred September 6, 2022 and thereafter. Please call your MD office for an appointment if not scheduled.

Staying Healthy:

Please review the process of handwashing and proper cough etiquette with your child. This is a simple way to help prevent the spread of germs.

Isolation and Exposure Calculator:

The CDC has an Isolation and Exposure Calculator that is very helpful if you or your child tests positive for Covid. Visit the CDC site link:Isolation and Precautions for People with COVID-19

To keep everyone healthy this winter please keep in mind, students should not be in school if they have:

  • Fever at or above 100 degrees
  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Cough that is persistent or an unusual level of severity
  • Flu
  • COVID-19+

In general, your child should be without fever, vomiting, or diarrhea for 24 hours with no use of medication, before they return to school.
