ROCK'in Into February!

I hope this finds all our Split Rock families doing well as we continue to thrive and work toward maintaining growth in all areas for our Wildcats.

A big shout out to our Grade 4 students as they worked through the world of science, completing the "Light it Up" Science Investigation this week. Their curiosity and hard work literally lit up the library, and it was an exciting learning environment to witness. We encourage all those who have a child in Grade 4 to discuss this experience with them at home and celebrate their learning!

Our "Soup" er Bowl Food Drive is off to an incredible start, thanks to the generous contributions from our school community. As the drive continues throughout next week, we encourage those willing and able to participate in bringing in those non-perishable items to be donated to our local food pantry at St. Charles Church and, in doing so, vote for who you think will win the big game!

As we look ahead into next week, we look forward to having Officer Brand back in the building for our CODE presentations, of which each grade level will be a part. Grade 4 will also stay busy this week and will have the opportunity to visit WGHS to watch a preview of the musical production of "Cinderella."

We continue to be AWESOME at "The ROCK," and do amazing things every day! I hope everyone has an enjoyable weekend and we look forward to seeing our Wildcats back on Monday.

BE AWESOME!

Mr. Kimpland
