As we embark on the spring season (hopefully), I wanted to share some exciting updates and reminders with you. Firstly, a friendly reminder that Monday, April 8, will be a half-day for students, with dismissal at 11:15 AM. Please plan accordingly for this schedule change.
I would like to extend a big thank you to Rev Theatre Co. for their incredible performances and engagement with our Grade 1 students this week. Their presentations always leave our students captivated and inspired. See our pictures below.
Additionally, our recent Learning Fair Research Night was a resounding success with a wonderful turnout. We eagerly anticipate the final projects and presentations by our Grade 3 and Grade 4 students at our upcoming Spring Open House and Learning Fair Night!
Looking ahead, we are excited to kick off our D.E.A.R initiative starting on Monday. I can't wait to see all the completed Bingo boards and witness the great reading experiences that take place. Lastly, a gentle reminder to our Grade 3 and Grade 4 students and families that state assessments are approaching. The ELA test is scheduled for April 15 and 16, with the math test following on May 8 and 9. This is a great opportunity for students to showcase their abilities and everything they have learned throughout the year.
Thank you for your continued support and involvement in our school community. Together, we can make this spring semester a time of growth, learning, and fun for all our students.
BE AWESOME!
Mr. Kimpland
