We are four days into our D.E.A.R initiative, and the enthusiasm for reading is amazing! Keep diving into those books and filling up your Bingo boards. Remember, they are due back on April 17, so we can celebrate all the fantastic reading adventures our Wildcats have embarked on.
A big thank you goes out to Officer Diane Brand for her invaluable contribution to our C.O.D.E. Program. Her engaging presentations to all grade levels were informative and inspiring. We deeply appreciate everything Officer Brand does for our Split Rockers, fostering a safe and supportive environment for our school community.
As we gear up for the NYS Computer-Based ELA Assessment next week on Monday (4/15) and Tuesday (4/16), I want to remind all Grade 3 and Grade 4 students and families to prepare adequately. Getting plenty of rest and starting the day with a nutritious breakfast will set the stage for success. The assessments will be administered in the morning following our announcements, so arriving at school on time is crucial. I am confident our students will shine brightly and demonstrate their incredible skills during these assessments. Let's show everyone how our Wildcats "ROCK" it!
Have a great weekend!
BE AWESOME!
