What a week at “The Rock,” filled with many amazing experiences and memorable moments. We kicked off the week with our Grade 4 team having an enjoyable experience at the Erie Canal. They dodged the rain early in the day and went on to have a fantastic time exploring and learning.
Throughout the week our Grade 2 students have been hard at work conducting a science experiment as part of their Erosion Unit. Their enthusiasm and curiosity were amazing to witness.
Yesterday, our younger Split Rockers had the unique opportunity to see the graduating class of 2024 march through the halls. It was a fantastic experience for our students and the seniors who got to revisit their elementary school and reconnect with their former teachers.
We finished the week strong as our Grade 1 picnic was held earlier this morning. A big thank you to the staff and parent volunteers who made this all happen. This event was a great success and thoroughly enjoyed by all.
To top off our week, our Wildcats were treated to a visit from the Hawaiian Shaved Ice Truck, courtesy of the Split Rock PTO. It was a sweet and refreshing way to celebrate the week.
Looking ahead the excitement continues as Field Days is scheduled for Thursday, June 20. Please remember that there will be no school on Wednesday, June 19, as we observe Juneteenth.
Thank you for your continued support and involvement!
Have a great weekend!
BE AWESOME!
