Sixty students and recent graduates of West Genesee High School have been named Advanced Placement Scholars by The College Board in recognition of their exceptional achievement on the college-level Advanced Placement (AP) Examinations. Several levels of achievement are recognized based on the number of year-long courses and examinations (or their equivalent semester-long courses and examinations).

Four students qualified for the AP Scholar with Distinction Award by earning an average grade of at least 3.5 on all AP Examinations taken, and grades of 3 or higher on five or more of these examinations. They are graduates Intisar Haddad,Nathan Smith, and Matthew Tully; and senior Ava Amodio.

Twenty-two students qualified for the AP Scholar with Honors Award by earning an average grade of at least 3.25 on all AP Examinations taken, and grades of 3 or higher on four or more of these examinations. Seniors who qualified are Angelina Allen, Ella Boyer, Devin Dantuono, Rebecca Dickey, Lilyanna Kupiec, Max Leubner, Calina Olson, Evan Powers, Rowan Prior, Dante Santiago, Chad Smith, Ava Stojanovski, Isabella Vallely, and Zakaria Zagha; and graduates Cooper Corcoran, Anthony Edgar, Zoe Maupin, Elena Pacheco, Joseph Paoli, Vivian Raposo, Jacob Severson, and Angus Tarolli  also received this recognition.

Thirty-four students qualified for the AP Scholar Award by receiving grades of 3 or higher on three or more AP Examinations. The AP Scholars are seniors Yar Ayor, Sofia Barba, Sienna Baron, Kyle Bastable, Isabella Bianco, Audrey Diddle, Sean Dunning, Norah Emery, Jonathan Gage, Nora Kinsella, Abigail Marchesani, Kote McGlaughlin, Logan Meier, Kylie Murphy, Jackson Pensabene, Jacob Pensabene, Evan Perkins, Greta Propper, Audra Vine, Lina Volik, and Alyssa Winters;; along with graduates Brady Barrett, David Desko, Isabel Gardner, Lilliana Iacampo, Karolina Lata, Austin Michalkow, Emma Monaghan, James Mungro, Joseph Panek, Claire Petty, Cynthia Schlenker, Nicole Vasilev, and Erica Volik.
